Surgeon Social started with a simple frustration. Every "healthcare marketing agency" lumped physicians and surgeons in with dentists, physical therapists, and veterinarians. The pitch decks all looked the same. The strategies all sounded the same. None of them understood what actually moves a private practice referring physicians, conference visibility, peer reputation, and trust earned over years.
One co-founder is a 20-year MedTech sales leader who has spent his career inside hospital systems and operating rooms. He has watched, up close, which physicians built referral networks and which didn't, and what visibility actually does for a practice.
The other co-founder is a practicing physician and key opinion leader. He built his own referral network and KOL presence from scratch, and was tired of watching colleagues hand their reputations to agencies that couldn't pronounce half the procedures on their service line.
They built Surgeon Social to be the agency they wished existed. One vertical. Done deeply. With no apologies for turning down the work that doesn't fit.

A 20-year MedTech sales leader. He has spent his career inside the same operating rooms your patients walk into, and watched, up close, which physicians built lasting referral networks and which didn't. He understands the attention to detail, the standards and performance expectations a physician demands. As your strategy is executed, he will serve as your main point of contact, whenever you need our help. His goal is to help surgeons create a brand and voice that builds a deeper connection with their patients, referral base and community long before someone arrives in their clinic or operating room. Outside of your social platforms, his goal is to be the one stop shop for all your marketing and branding needs. If you need something, ask us and we will either do the work ourselves or refer you to a colleague that does it better.

A practicing surgeon with more than twenty years in the OR and a recognized key opinion leader in his specialty for well over a decade. He built his referral network from the ground up and kept growing in a market where many others struggled, earning his reputation the way most physicians do - through real outcomes and patient trust built over years.Along the way, he found very little honest guidance for physicians trying to step into social media and modern patient communication in a way that still felt professional. He watched too many colleagues hand their reputations to agencies that had never set foot in an operating room, often paying a premium for it while their overhead climbed and margins shrank. He started Surgeon Social on a simple belief: physicians deserve better. Real guidance from people who have lived it and built it, aimed at authentic communication and lasting trust rather than manufactured influence.
